What principles guide our work of acting on love for sustainable education?
Our vision begins with the principle that successful efforts to address poverty must be rooted in relationships of solidarity with people who are poor. We believe everything turns on relationship.
Our goal is to support pro-poor schools and educational opportunities we would be pleased for our own children to attend, and to make those available to those who would otherwise lack them.
Our method is creating partnerships between those with an abundance of material resources and those who lack them but have other gifts to offer because we believe human beings are transformed for good only in relationship with others.
Our respect for our students’ indigenous cultures is shown by teaching in the language they speak at home and honoring their cultural traditions.
Our focus is on students and their families.
Our fiduciary duty is owed first and foremost to those we serve. We are committed to transparency.
Our promise is to work only on projects we would be happy to have people we love attend.
